Suitable for all kinds of uPVC pipes & fittings upto 6” diameter
Suitable for domestic plumping & industrial application
Suitable for cold water pipelines
Used for potable water
It also works very well in PVC , Acrylic & ABS
AMROW uPVC Solvent Cement is fast setting solvent cement for joining uPVC pipes & fittings for low pressure and drainage system. It can be used for uPVC pipes transporting potable water as well as for materials like PVC, Acrylic & ABS.
Step 1 : Cut the pipe to the required length
Step 2 : Remove rough edges and clean the outer surface of the pipe and the inner surface of the socket.
Step 3 : Check the dry fit of the pipe and fitting. The pipe should easily go up to the end of the fitting. Use Solvobond Primer if required.
Step 4 : Apply an even coat of AMROW uPVC Solvent Cement on the outer surface of the pipe and the inner surface of the socket using a suitable applicator. Apply a second coat on the pipe up to the socket depth.
Step 5 : Insert the pipe into the socket with a 45° to 90° twist to ensure proper spreading of AMROW uPVC Solvent Cement, and hold for 30 seconds.
Step 6 : Wipe off excess cement and leave the joint undisturbed for one hour to achieve perfect bonding. Step 7: Close the partially used container immediately after use.
High solid content
Meets ASTM D 2564 Standards
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement is a fast-setting solvent cement used to join uPVC pipes and fittings in low-pressure plumbing and drainage systems. It is suitable for domestic plumbing, agriculture pipelines, boring and drainage work.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement bonds uPVC pipes and fittings up to 6 inches in diameter, and it also works well on PVC, Acrylic and ABS materials.
Clean and roughen the pipe and socket surfaces, apply Amrow evenly with an applicator on both surfaces, then twist the pipe 45-90 degrees into the socket and hold for 30 seconds. Wipe off excess cement and leave the joint undisturbed for one hour.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement should be held in place for about 30 seconds after joining, with the joint left undisturbed for one hour to achieve a strong bond.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement is commonly used for domestic plumbing, industrial applications, cold water pipelines and potable water systems carrying uPVC, PVC, Acrylic or ABS pipes.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement is designed for cold water pipelines and forms a strong, leak-resistant solvent-welded joint, meeting ASTM D-2564 hydrostatic burst strength requirements.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement is formulated specifically for uPVC, PVC, Acrylic and ABS pipework, so it should not be used on unrelated substrates such as metal, wood or rubber piping systems.
Avoid skipping the dry-fit check, applying the cement unevenly, or disturbing the joint before the one-hour curing period is complete. Always close the container immediately after partial use to prevent it from drying out.
Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement is a single-component, easy-to-apply formula with high solid content that meets ASTM D-2564 standards and sets very quickly, making it well suited for uPVC pipe joining rather than general-purpose glue.
Store Amrow uPVC Solvent Cement in a dry place in its original, properly closed container at 2-40°C, and reseal partially used containers immediately to maintain its 18-month shelf life.
Shelf Life: 18 months for tin conatiner and 4 years for Coex pack in prescribed storage condition
Storage: Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers.
