Ideal for sealing blow holes, cracks in metal casting, pumps, moulds, wooden patterns
Sealing of leakage in tanks, vessel, boiler, heat exchanger, pipelines, gear boxes, cooling towers
It also used for insulation of cable terminals, cable entry into switch boxes
Step 1 : The surface should be free from dust, rust, oil, paint, varnish, moisture etc. Emery paper or grinder can be used to abrade the surface for better binding. Acetone, petrol, kerosene oil can be used to free the surface from grease/oil
Step 2 : Twist or cut off required amounts, then knead it with fingers to achieve a uniform color. If mixing is difficult, warm the putty to room temperature or slightly above.
Step 3 : Apply to surface to be repaired within 2 minutes of mixing. Force into any cracks or holes to be filled and strike off the excess material, preferably with a tool that’s made moist using clean water. When applying to a damp or wet leaking area, work the material forcefully and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. For a smooth appearance of the cured compound, hand rub with water or a damp cloth prior to hardening. Remove excess material before hardening begins.
Step 4 : After 5-10 minutes the epoxy will begin to form a tenacious bond. After just 60 mins, Bondset GP can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded, stained or painted
Longer working time
Non-sticky to hand
Multi-substrate adhesion
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty is a general-purpose, high-strength epoxy putty suitable for sealing, joining and insulating a variety of surfaces.
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty is suitable for sealing, joining and insulating a variety of surfaces, including metal and other repair substrates.
Clean the surface of dust, rust, oil and moisture, knead the putty with your fingers to a uniform colour, apply within 2 minutes of mixing, and strike off excess material with a water-moistened tool.
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty begins forming a tenacious bond within 5-10 minutes, and after 60 minutes it can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded, stained or painted.
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty is commonly used for high-temperature and metal repair needs on both home and industrial surfaces.
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty is built for high-temperature repair applications, and it can be applied to damp or wet leaking areas with forceful working and pressure.
Surfaces with dust, rust, oil, paint or moisture should be properly cleaned and abraded first, as Bondset GP Epoxy Putty needs a prepared surface for best adhesion.
Avoid applying the putty more than 2 minutes after mixing, skipping surface preparation, or removing pressure too early on damp or wet leaking areas.
Bondset GP Epoxy Putty is engineered for high-temperature and metal repair work, a level of strength and heat tolerance ordinary adhesives are not built to deliver.
Store Bondset GP Epoxy Putty in a dry place in its original, properly closed packaging away from heat and moisture.
