Suitable for domestic plumbing, agriculture pipeline, borewell and PVC door applications
Step 1 : Cut pipe square and remove burrs.
Step 2 : Before applying the Plastiweld roughen and clean the outer surface of PVC pipes and inner surface of socket.
Step 3 : Check the dry fit of pipe & fitting it should go upto end of pipe easily but should be came tight on half way.
Step 4 : Apply Plastiweld evenly by using suitable applicator on outer surface of pipe and inner surface of socket. Twist the pipe 45°-90° while inserting into the socket for better spreading of Plastiweld and hold for 30 sec.
Step 5 : Wipe off excess of Plastiweld and leave the surface untouched for 1 hour for perfect bonding Partially emptied container should be closed immediately.
Step 6 : Partially emptied container should be closed immediately.
Low viscous
Meets ASTM D 2564 Standards
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement is a low-viscosity, fast-setting, regular-bodied PVC solvent cement used for jointing PVC pipes and fittings.
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement is formulated specifically for joining PVC pipes and fittings.
Cut the pipe square, roughen and clean the pipe and socket surfaces, check the dry fit, apply Plastiweld evenly, then twist the pipe 45-90 degrees into the socket and hold for 30 seconds.
Leave the joint untouched for 1 hour after application to achieve a perfect bond, and close the partially used container immediately afterward.
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement is commonly used for domestic plumbing, agriculture pipeline, borewell and drainage applications.
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement is designed as a leak-proof PVC pipe sealant suitable for cold-water plumbing and drainage systems.
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement is formulated for PVC pipework and should not be used on CPVC or uPVC pipes, which require their own specific cements.
Avoid skipping the dry-fit check, applying the cement unevenly, or disturbing the joint before the one-hour curing period.
Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement's low-viscosity, fast-setting formula creates a reliable, leak-proof PVC pipe bond more quickly than ordinary adhesives can achieve.
Store Plastiweld PVC Solvent Cement in a dry place in its original, properly closed container, and reseal partially used containers immediately after use.
Shelf Life: 18 months from the date of manufacturing
Storage: Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers.
