Step 1 : Cut pipe square and remove burrs

Step 2 : Before applying the Solvobond roughen and clean the outer surface of PVC pipes and inner surface of socket

Step 3 : Check the dry fit of pipe & fitting it should go upto end of pipe easily but should be came tight on half way

Step 4 : Apply Solvobond evenly by using suitable applicator on outer surface of pipe and inner surface of socket

Step 5 : Rotate the pipe 1/4th while inserting into the socket for better spreading of Solvobond and hold for 30 second

Step 6 : Wipe off excess of Solvobond and leave the surface untouched for 1 hour for perfect bonding

Step 7 : Partially emptied container should be closed immediately

Solvobond PVC is a medium-bodied PVC solvent cement used for repairing and bonding PVC pipes and fittings.

It bonds PVC pipes and fittings used in plumbing, irrigation and electrical conduit systems.

Roughen and clean the pipe and socket surfaces, apply Solvobond evenly, rotate the pipe a quarter turn while inserting, and hold for 30 seconds.

Wipe off excess cement and leave the joint untouched for 1 hour to allow perfect bonding.

Common applications include irrigation, electrical conduit and plumbing PVC pipe joints.

Solvobond PVC meets ASTM D 2564 standards for pressure piping; specific heat-resistance figures are not listed.

Avoid using Solvobond PVC on pipes or fittings other than PVC, as the cement is formulated specifically for PVC bonding.
