It is use for gasketing in different applications like

• Oil Filter fitting surface
• Fuel pump joined flange surfaces
• Oil pump joined flange surfaces
• Cylinder head joined flange surfaces and other various flange surfaces

Resistance Test:

• A glass & metal panel is coated with Resigrip and dried for 24 hrs at 25°C. It was then dried in oven at 100 ± 5°C for 3 hrs and then kept in desiccator and allowed to cool at RT. Now these panels will be used for following resistance tests.

Water Resistance Test:

• Test piece were immersed in water and maintained at 90-95°C for 1 hr. Then it was washed with methanol and dried at 65 ± 5°C for 24 hrs and thereafter cooled at room temperature prior to weighing.

Oil Resistance Test

• Test piece were immersed in process oil at 95-100°C for 24 hr. Then it was washed with methanol and dried at 65 ± 5°C for 24 hrs and thereafter cooled at room temperature prior to weighing.

Gasoline Resistance Test:

• Test piece were immersed in Gasoline at 45-50°C for 24 hr. Then it was washed with methanol and dried at 65 ± 5°C for 24 hrs and thereafter cooled at room temperature prior to weighing.

In all above test change in weight is less than 5%.

• Medium viscous material allows proper coverage
• For a rubber like elastic material
• Resistance to heat, oil and variety of chemicals
• Resistant to high pressure

• Before use, clean the bonding area to remove grease or dust
• Apply Resigrip and spread evenly with the help of spatula
• Immediately place the cap on the respective packing
• Tighten joints 2-3 min after application

18 months in unopened packaging in a strictly dry and cool storage place.

Product should be stored in a cool place strictly below 40°C.
