Plastiweld
Plastiweld is low viscosity fast setting solvent cement for jointing PVC pipe and fittings which can withstand upto 60°C.
Applications
Excellent solvent cement for PVC pipe and fittings. Can be used for potable water. It can also works very well in PVC, acrylic & ABS.
How to use
- Cut pipe square and remove burrs.
- Before applying the Plastiweld roughen and clean the outer surface of PVC pipes and inner surface of socket.
- Check the dry fit of pipe & fitting it should go upto end of pipe easily but should be came tight on half way.
- Apply Plastiweld evenly by using suitable applicator on outer surface of pipe and inner surface of socket. Twist the pipe 45°-90° while inserting into the socket for better spreading of Plastiweld and hold for 30 sec.
- Wipe off excess of Plastiweld and leave the surface untouched for 1 hour for perfect bonding
- Partially emptied container should be closed immediately.
Shelf Life
18 months from the date of manufacturing.
Storage
Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers.
