Bondtite Uniweld

Bondtite Uniweld is a high strength, two component, high technology adhesive system. This system has been designed for applications where high impact and extremely high bond strength is required. It bonds various similar and dissimilar substrates such as metals, rigid plastics (ABS, PVC, PU, Polycarbonate), FRP, Ferrite, Ceramic, Wood, Leather, Rubber, Marble, Glass etc. This system has unique property of achieving high bond strength even if the surfaces to be bonded have traces of oil.

Application
Applications

Bondtite Uniweld is a two part, rubber solution with many applications and having excellent impact strength.

 

Automobiles

  • Fixing electromagnets to flywheels, bonding brake lining to shoes, bonding metal parts to glass in miniature bulbs, for liner placement and repairing in the engine.

 

Electrical & Electronics

  • Fixing of magnets to metal pieces in watt hour meter, fixing aluminum caps to glass shells in night bulbs manufacturing, bonding of cooling coils to freezers in refrigerators, fixing diaphragms and magnets to base plate of speaker.

 

Appliances

  • For assembly of mixers, washing machines, gas stoves. For fixing loose handles of tools, fixing of drains, hoses, sealing of tank joints in washing machines.

 

Miscellaneous

  • For fixing name plates and sign boards, joining of marbles, wash basin pieces and repairing of chipped sanitary ware, to repair broken picture frames, in repairing jewellery, to stick broken toys and brassware handicrafts & in manufacturing of sports goods like tennis racket, polo sticks etc.

How to use
How to use
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, wax and paint. Roughen smooth surfaces for better adhesion by sandblasting or sanding with emery cloth.
  • Wash glass and ceramic surfaces with soap and water then rinse and let dry.
  • Pre-fit parts to be joined.
  • Squeeze equal volumes of the material from both part-A & part-B. Mix  part-A & part-B for one minute thoroughly and then apply as per requirement.
  • Clamp it for 30 minutes.
  • It can be used by applying part A on one surface part B another surface. Put both the applied surface togather and leave for 20 min.                              
  • Fully Strength achive in 2 hours

Bondtite Uniweld should not be used in under water applications or on damped surface.

Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed container.
