Trubuild
TRUBUILD BWP-222 (Binder & Waterproofer) is an acrylic co-polymer emulsion which is used as bonding agent for new substrate to old substrates and as cement mortar modifier which gives an excellent bond to old and new concrete. If added in concrete, it increases the tensile and flexural strength and life of concrete. If it is mix with cement to make a slurry then it can be used as waterproofing coating.
- It is used for different concrete repair application like spalled concrete, floor, columns, beams, slab and parapet etc.
- It is also used as an additive for repair mortar which gives a bonding
- It is also used for priming of re-enforced steel bars
- Free from chloride content
- Single component product and easy to use due to its low viscosity.
- It improves the strength as well as water proofing of cement which ultimate increases durability as well as flexural strength of cement & cementitious compositions
- It is compatible with all common cements and works as a dust proof sealer
Surface Preparation
- The surface should be clean and dried before application. It should be free from dust, unsound material, loose plaster, oil, paint, grease, algae and corrosion deposits
Steel Priming for reinforcement
- For priming of reinforced steel all corroded steel should be exposed fully and all loose scale and corrosion deposits will remove
- Surface should be completely soaked with water and then make slurry of 1:1 ratio of Trubuild BWP and cement and apply one coat on exposed steel and allow it to dry
- After initial drying of first coat, second cost is to be done and then again allow it to dry. The repair or top mortar application should be carried out when then slurry coating is still tacky. Same slurry can be used for achieving water proofing
Bonding Slurry Coat
- For Bonding slurry coat mix Trubuild BWP-222 with Cement where extra bonding is require for Bonding old to new concrete
- It acts as water proofing additive with cement to give waterproofing
Render & Mortars
- For render and patching repair mortar application quantities are to be mix (Cement: 50 kg, Sand: 150 kg, Trubuild BWP: 20 litres & Sufficient water to get required consistency)
As Curing agent
- It acts as curing agent by preventing the rapid loss of water
- In drastic drying conditions it give added curing advantages

Product should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers at temperature between 2-40°C. Partially emptied container should be closed immediately
