How to use
How to use

Surface Preparation

  • The surface should be clean by manual or mechanical means and it should be free from dust, unsound material, loose plaster, oil, paint, grease, algae and corrosion deposits. Roughen the any smooth surface by scrubbing. Surface should be brought to Saturated Surface Dry condition before the application of waterproof coating.

Mixing

  • For less than 25 kg, hand mixing is permissible, for quantity above to 25 kg use of Suitable Mechanical mixture is recommended to get proper homogeneous mixing.
  • Before application the surface should be thoroughly saturated with water and ensure removal of any excess water prior to application.

Water proof coating

  • For water proof coating make a slurry of 1:1.5 ratio (by volume) or 0.2: 1 ratio (by weight) of Trubuild WPL 333 and cement. Charging of cement and mixing should be done slowly to avoid any air entrapment
  • Apply 1st coat on surface and allow it to dry. After 4-6 hrs of first coat, apply second cost and then again allow it to dry for 5 -6 hrs. This should be followed by moist curing by sprinkling / Spraying of potable water for 24 hrs. After Moist curing, the surface should be allowed to air cure for 3 to 5 days before covering it with any protective screed.
  • Coverage will be 20 to 22 sq.ft/kg/2 coats

Renders & Patch repairing Mortar

  • For render and patching repair mortar application following quantities are to be mix (Cement: 50 kg, Sand: 150 kg, Trubuild WPL: 6-7.5 litres & Water: 10 lit) and this mix can be used as per the requirement.

Priming

  • For primer application used for bonding purpose make a slurry of 1:1 ratio (by volume) or 0.3: 1 ratio (by weight) of Trubuild WPL 333 and cement. Apply one coat on surface. The repair or top mortar application should be carried out when then slurry coating is still tacky

Screed & PCC Application

  • For screed & PCC application quantities are to be mix (Cement: 50 kg, Sand: 75 kg, 6 mm Coarse Aggregate: 75 kg, Trubuild WPL: 6-7.5 litres & Water: 10 lit) and this mix can be used as per the requirement.
