How to use
How to use

Surface Preparation

  • Remove the loose and unsound materials, oil, dirt, debris from the substrate. Remove all the previous waterproofing coatings if any by mechanical means to avoid failure of any subsequent upcoming waterproofing coatings. Fill all the existing cracks up to 5 mm by making “V” groove and then filling it with Trubuild CFP 425. For cracks larger than 5 mm use Polymer modified mortar making with Trubuild WPL 333/Trubuild BWP 222 after making v groove, repair all the patches and joints with Trubuild Non-shrink grout HS and make substrate sound.

Application

  • Before application of Trubuild Primesure Primer on the substrate, it is to be ensured that the surface should be in Saturated Dry Condition(SSD) and use air blower for removal of any dust due to wind(Don’t use Hot blower). Filling the pores and making suitable surface for further waterproofing, use Trubuild Primesure primer in diluted form with water in 2:1 chemical to water ratio(50% water dilution), by weight before commencement of any finish coat.

Limitation & Precaution

  • Maximum 50% water to be diluted.
  • Don’t tint.
  • Prior to use, ensure previous waterproofing treatment is completely removed and cleaned.
  • Avoid application of coating at High temperature above 50°C and at Relative Humidity level higher than 75%.
  • Ensure proper consumption of material to achieve all the properties.
  • Avoid application in intermittent of rain or on standing/runoff water at surface.
  • Always use brush or roller and ensure proper covering of entire surface area.
  • If porosity is very high and the absorption is more one additional primer coat may be applied if required.
  • Always mix well the material with low rpm paddle mixture after opening new container till we achieve homogeneous mixture.
  • For any miscellaneous surface contact Technical service team before commencing the Application.
  • Should not be applied on any standing water, else it may lead to failure of overall waterproofing system
  • Avoid mixing of any type of emulsion or additive to Trubuild Primesure Primer as it does not require any addition except the water as per ratio mentioned above.
  • Consume all the material once opened to avoid any contamination of material due to dust or any other foreign material.
  • Always keep material away from the direct sunlight and keep on shade.
  • Before priming always remove previous waterproof coatings with the help of mechanical means to avoid failure of upcoming subsequent waterproof coatings.
  • Do not use other manufacturer primer or other material which is used for repairing and priming as it will not confront any type of performance which we are providing with our product and system.
  • Please read all the guidelines and always try to get in touch with our technical sales person before starting any type of application to avoid waterproofing system failure.

Mandatory and recommended industrial hygiene procedures should be followed whenever our products are being handled and processed. For additional information please refer Material safety data sheet.
