ASTR PR200A/PH200B is a faster-curing, medium-viscosity epoxy system suitable for paint brush manufacturing. ASTR PR200A is a filled epoxy resin and ASTR PH200B is a clear epoxy hardener. It is suitable for manual or automatic mix application with good penetration characteristics specifically controlled by stringent quality control of individual grades.
Step 1 : Part A and B should be stirred homogeneously before application.
Step 2 : PourPart-A and Part-B in mixing container as per mixing ratio suggested and stir to achieve homogeneous mixture.
Step 3 : The mixed system should be applied such that the compound is visible at the edge of the ferrule without overpenetration into the bristle. Insufficient material will lead to poor bristle retention.
Step 4 : Cure should be conducted between 20˚C to 40˚C. The system has a limited working time before cure and should be applied immediately following mix. When cured at ambient temperatures, brushes should be stored overnight before conducting finishing operations.
Step 5 : Temperatures below 15˚C give rise to reduced performance. Improved performance can be obtained through post-cure operations.

Shelf Life: Part A & B should be stored away from light & heat. Partly emptied containers should be tightly closed immediately after use to avoid exposure to light.
