BONDINSUL 57A/74B/PDY0602 is a medium-viscosity, elevated temperature curing epoxy system designed for high-voltage applications. PDY0602 is an accelerator for elevated temperature epoxy systems and is added as per requirement to reduce gel time and lower cure temperature.
Suitable for casting of electrical and electronic parts such as post type insulators, switch-gears, bushing, motors, high-voltage choke coils, ignition coils, etc.
Step 1 : ‘Resin, Filler (170-190), Pigment’ and ‘Hardener, Filler’ mixed separately under 700-760 mmHg vacuum and 50-60 ˚C temperature. Mixture of resin and hardener mix along with plasticizer and accelerator are mixed in separate container under 700-760 mmHg vacuum to get homogeneous mix for casting. Final mixture is then poured in to tank and then supplied into mold heated at elevated temperature with pressure.
Step 2 : Filled mold is allowed to cure at 80-100 ˚C (or at any other elevated temperature) for 1 hr and then casting is removed from mold. Casting is then allowed to post cure at 120 ˚C (or at any other elevated temperature) for 6-8 hrs for completion of reaction.
Elevated temperature curing
Excellent electrical insulating properties
Excellent thermal resistance
Storage : Part A,B & C should be stored away from light & heat. Partly emptied containers should be tightly closed immediately after use to avoid exposure to light.
Shelf Life : "2 year for Part-A, PartC and 12 Months for Part-B from date of mfg. for both Part A and Part B (Storage Temp - 2-40 °C)"
