BONDTITE FOAMBOND SR is a synthetic rubber-based contact adhesive specially designed for excellent bonding of sofa, revolving chair foam, rexine, mattresses and upholstery, etc.
Suitable for bonding variety of substrates like foam to foam, rexin, wood, metal, leather in manufacturing mattress and upholstery.
The usual procedure to be followed for application of Bondtite Foambond with the help of the brush or any suitable tool is as follows :
Step 1 : Surface preparation: Ensure that substrates to be bonded are clean, dry and free from oil, grease and foreign particles such as dust and rust.
Step 2 : Stir adhesive well and make it homogeneous prior to use.
Step 3 : Apply adhesive uniformly in thin layer on both the substrates to be bonded with brush, spatula or any suitable tool.
Step 4 : Allow evaporation of solvents from adhesive layer to develop tack.
Step 5 : The evaporation of solvent may take 5 to 10 minutes depending upon ambient temperature and humidity.
Step 6 : Assemble both the substrates with uniform contact pressure to achieve intimate contact without air pockets. The optimum bond strength is achieved after 24 hours.

Storage: Products should be stored in a dry place in their original, properly closed containers at temperatures between 2-40°C. Partially emptied containers / Pouches should be closed immediately.
